The Roschen Bayonet Male is an adaptor for when you want to use accessories with threads on Roschen or Roschen drill pipe/drill rods with Beco thread for drilling. It has 3 1/2" ~ 12" Beco threads and should be used with maximum 160 bar. Roschen’s bayonet system is an improvement of the system that the biggest manufacturers in the market use. This makes them compatible, yet easier to assemble.

BAYONET 

Bayonet connections offer a quick installation as well as a reliable, leak-resistant, thermally efficient connection. Bayonet connections offer a slip together joint used for easy field assembly of vacuum jacketed pipe sections. The male and female design provides a long heat path from the outer jacket to the inner pipe. The seal at the end of the male bayonet, and the o-ring seal at the flange make this a pressure-tight connection. Acme Cryogenics’ offers a unique bayonet connection that provides a superior mechanical joint for vacuum jacketed piping sections, with no welding required.

Low Heat Leak

Roschen's proprietary design features a long heat path from the outer jacket to the inner pipe. This, in combination with the cold shrink seal at the end of the male bayonet and the o-ring seal at the flange, give a trouble free, low heat leak connection for all cryogenic liquids.

V-Band

Our low profile designed bayonets incorporate a recessed V-band clamp that remains flush with the outer vacuum jacket.

This allows for a cleaner wall penetration at assembly, and easier section removal at a later date
